How to Become a Member of God's Family

God loves you very much and He wants you to be part of His family. All you have to do is ask Him. Here's how!

First, you have to know that you are a sinner. A sinner is someone who does wrong things. All of us do wrong things. All of us are sinners. (Read Romans 3:23)

Then, you have to believe that God sent Jesus to die on the cross for us. If we believe this and ask Jesus to be our Savior, then His death on the cross takes care of our punishment. (Read John 3:16 and Romans 5:8)

Then, ask Jesus to forgive your sins and be your Savior. (Read Romans 10:13) You can pray a prayer like this one:

Dear Jesus, I know I've done wrong things and I'm sorry for them. I believe that You died on the cross to pay for my sins. Please forgive me and be my Savior. Thank you for making me part of Your family. Amen.
