Well, not much going on..

Though if you have not checked out the 18 new screenshots of Alliance,
at SectoidHaven, then DO SO NOW!

And now something quite different.
Here's a little funny piece of writing:

Bob's Psychic Predictions For 1999

January -- New Scandal:
A new Washington financial scandal will be in the headlines,
when it is discovered that extraterrestrial aliens
contributed campaign funds to the Democratic National Committee.
Not knowing how to return the money, the government will
transfer the funds to the NSA, thus converting the "Gray" Budget
into a Black Budget. The windfall funds will be spent on wild parties,
but of course no one will know it. The aliens have, of course,
anticipated this, as it was their plan all along to keep
the NSA incapacitated for the next 12 months.

Microprose has gone ahead and polished up their website.
It's only a graphical update, but still, it looks much better.

But they are not alone about polishing up their website.

In need of some new XCOM pals?

Well there's a freshly started Newsgroup located at -> alt.games.x-com

You can watch it in your browser at this address:

alt.games.x-com

And surprised was I to here about Julian Gollop posting to this NewsGroup!
The very man that originated with, and followed through the concept of XCOM!

To get more details on Julian Gollop and the origin of XCOM,
a good start would be to have a look at this site's History section.

Thank you Detonate, for bringing alt.games.x-com to my attention!

Welcome to my new site's location here on Xoom!

Yes, I decided to move.

The move happened because it's easier available here,
and the page will load faster for the most of you.

Please update your bookmark and check in from time to time..

"Moving" onto the news..

NOW is your chance to have your say for the future of XCOM!

Dave Ellis (Microproses's TopDog on XCOM)
recently went public and said amongst other things this:

"We would very much like to get input from X-COM fans to see
exactly what you would like to see in the next installment."

"We want to do justice to the X-COM brand,
and to do so we need input from the fans!"

If any, this is the golden opportunity!

Take it now and mail Dave Ellis and the crew your opinions!
