From 23 April to 27 April 2006 I visit Bulgaria for first time together with my XYL Laila ,Tormod-LA7VK and his XYL Ingrid.

First we stay for 1 night in Sofia in Radison Hotel.Next morning on 24 April my good friend Emil -LZ3HI come and bring us to the ACOM factory.Tormod bought an ACOM 2000 amplifier there.The Acom president and some few persons meet us very friendly - it was unbelievable for us.Bring us to a nice restourant for a lunch time and spend with us several hours.So I just can say to these nice people from ACOM - THANKS.Later in the afternoon together with Emil we go to Stara Zagora -his QTH.Visit his home and his family and spend together 2 days.I had the possibility to operate from LZ3HI's radio shack.Just made 12 contacts as we haven't got more time for DX-ing ...we had a lot of other things to do there (walking around and visiting some places) but anyway I was able to use his FT 897 running about 300 watts and 12 el. log-periodic yagi made by ACOM.On 26 of April Emil bring us again to Sofia.There meet us again the king people from ACOM and show us some nice places in the capital of Bulgaria .So it was just a great time for us to stay in Bulgaria.Unfortunately it was for very short time but we hope next year to be back again and to stay for longer time.So see you next year again as LZ/LB9JE.
