Bodywork
The bodywork has been painted with Tamiya TS-16 gloss aluminium, easy to airbrush and very satisfying result.

Adding some details..
Not too much detailing done here, but the brake discs were drilled out and I used some Bare Metal Foil to simulate hose clamps on the carbs. Notice the silver around the blinkers, just paint but it makes them stand out.

Detail painting.
The most important thing is to make the engine look right, so I airbrushed the chromed parts with matt varnish wich I polished to obtain that polished aluminium look, the rest of the engine is Humbrol flat aluminium metal cote. The exhaust were painted with Gun metal metal cote and the brake discs with Polished steel MC.

Conclusion.
I would not recommend this kit particullarly, it's not as detailed as one would expect and the fit of the parts is not as good as other Tamiya kits from the early days.
