1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Holiday coupe with option L-66: Turnpike Cruising Package ("TPC")
This page contains history on when I bought the car,
and my restoration of it.
I found (and bought) my Olds at Hot Rod and High Performance Swap Meet
and Car Show, Long Beach Veteran Memorial Stadium in LA, USA. This was on the 8. December
1996. I drove the car some days until the brakes broke down (in the rain downtown LA).
Then I shipped it home to Norway in Europe were I live. Back here in Norway I have started
to restore the car and hop to drive it in the summer of 200?. I have rebuild the brakes
and welded some rust. The lower part of the windshield and rear window had rusted so the
water came in. The result was some rust in the floor. I have replaced the front passenger
and drivers floor. The drivers side rear fender had also been changed and not so nice
replaced, so I had to cut it loose and re-weld it. Here is a list of some of the things I
bought to the car:
Front floor, driver and passenger side.
Front and back seat covers, front seat padding, door and rear
side-panels. package tray, inner roof, inner floor mat, compartment mat, all the
weather-strip including filth list, bumper stop an all the other rubber, radiator hoses
and so on.
Most of the parts in the brakes, a friend of my sleeved one front
caliper (disc brakes, first year option)
Front end kit, with rubber and knuckles, wheel bearings.
Tune up stuff, like spark plugs wires, carburetor rep. set and so on.
I will later put in a complete list, and some
pictures of the restoration
