When people talk about Hi-Fi,
or High Fidelity, everyone thinks: expensive, large loudspeakers and high
volume.
It can be that way, but it is not that which is the main point.
The main point is to listen to good quality and fidelity. The stereo is
going to give a live feeling of the artists/music you are playing.
Do you think that you cannot afford a Hi-Fi-stereo?
Well, you are wrong. Hi-Fi does not have to be expensive. If you are just
thinking of using the stereo to play your favourite music and you do not
want to use all your money on it, but still you would like it to sound
nice then there are several options for you.
You could go with the so called Hi-Fi from
Sony or Phillips etc., but I would not recommend that.
You will think it
is great for a while, but after have listening for some time, you will
find that it does not give you the satisfaction, the live-feeling you want.
Okay, let go. It is a bit more expensive with
"real" Hi-Fi, but you will save your self from repairs and frustration
over how bad it sounds. I am sure that if you have never listen to a Hi-Fi
stereo, and tried it out with your favourite music, the music would sound
all different. A Hi-Fi stereo gives a, so to speak, exact picture of how
the music sounds and is made. If it is a bad production, well so you would
be able to hear that.
For you who already have a Hi-Fi stereo and
are not sure of if it is good enough or if it really is Hi-Fi; you should
get your selves a Hi-Fi magazine. They sometimes release CD's with listening-tests,
and you will get the latest information about new products and prizes.
I do recommend by all means to get your selves
a Hi-Fi stereo.
