Joe Cannon's mother collapsed outside "The Walls" prison in Huntsville Tuesday night upon learning that her son was dead.
An ambulance was called and she was taken to a hospital. We do not know her condition. She has been in ill health. She is diabetic and had not eaten all day.

The Houston NBC-TV affiliated did show the collapse and the ambulance.
The CBS station did not mention it, and I did not catch any other broadcasts.
