BETA release 7 of AutodocViewer Lite v2.0 are now available...

Changes from BETA 5 release:

  • Know bugs
    • Some of the gadgets description, are clipped beyond readability... This problem does occure only with some fonts faces, eg. BNS_Fantasia/13... BNS_fantasia/11 works fine.

  • New features
    • Can correct all know autodocs files with syntax errors.

  • Changes
    • When opening the ScreenMode requester, all the windows are now disabled for user events...
    • When uniconifying AutodocViewer the windows Symbols, Include and Chronicle wouldn't reopen, this has now been changed...

  • Bugs fixed
    • When trying to clone an group with an group name that already existed AutodocViewer crashed, this has now been corrected...

BETA release 6 of AutodocViewer Lite v2.0 are now available...

Changes from BETA 5 release:

    • AutodocViewer are now able to "Find" and "Find Next" in the "Function" window... These function are also available in the "Function" window's toolbar.

  • Changes
    • BETA 5 release of AutodocViewer didn't contain an language, this has now been corrected... Many people reported this mistake of mine, I didn't read the Amiga Style Guide thoroughly...

    • While getting an error message on startup, ADV didn't show the right information about the error, this has been corrected... Reported by Jacek Rzeuski.
    • AutodocViewer didn't remove any "Chronicle" items when the list exceeded the number specified as maximum.

  • Bugs fixed
    • When having an group named eg. "Amiga" and trying to create an group called "Amig", ADV reported that the group already existed... This has been corrected...
    • Closing "Chronicle Window" caused crashes, two bugs where found and removed...
    • When removing the complete configuration by hand, ADVLite still had some symbols in memory, after 6 hours of debugging four bugs where located and removed... 10x

AutodocViewer Lite v2.0 BETA are release, this is probably the last BETA version :-)

This BETA release are missing the seraching feature and the documentation, which are about 50% complete.




I have been very unlucky lately, on 2. December 1999, lightning stroke and toasted my Amiga 4000 mainboard along with AriadneII Ethernet card. Luckly, no other cards did obtain any damage.

On 9. January 2000 I finaly got my hands on a secondhand Amiga 4000 with CyberStorm MKII 060/50, CyberVision 64/3D, CyberVision scandoubler and HyperCom4.

Also, the day before the lighning stroke, I good friend of mine, gave me an Seagate Baracuda 4.5G UW-SCSI harddrive, and my amazing wife gave me an 32x TEAC SCSI cd-rom for x-mas.

Now I only need a Ethernet card to get my Amiga back online :-)

I have also bought more RAM for my CSPPC card, which now is filled up with 128Mb :-)



The webmaster Robert Reiswig at CyberGraphX just informed me that the errors found in the autodocs cgx3dvirgin.doc and cybergraphics.doc are now available for download.



AutodocViewer Lite v2.0 BETA 1.17 is now available!!! With a funny bug!!! Changes in beta v1.17
  • Know bugs
    • When selecting a link and in thoose cases where the selected link does have a link at the same location as where it was selected from, ADV will swap between these function about 3-5 times. I have tried to fix this, but I haven't found anything wrong, yet!!! Any creative suggestions would be creatly appriciated!!! If you want to see this bug, try utility.doc/CheckDate() and select the SEE ALSO link to Date2Amiga() using topaz/8 font as textfont...
  • New features
    • The group window now support "closer" and "closer" keystrok search. The nearest match will be a ghosted entry in the list, when the user hits return the ghosted item will be selected. The user are also able to delete last keystroke by pressing "Backspace". The keystroke buffer will self delete after a certain amount of time, this time period can be changed in the settings window. Note!! The time period are messaured in micro seonds.
  • Changes
    • The include window has now a changeable window title, it will no longer just say "Includes...", it will show the name on the actual include that are displayed (without the path).
    • Minimum font size has been changed from 8 to 6.
    • Some cosmetic changes are also done, the user will not notice any of them.
  • Bugs fixed
    • A minor error while scanning asm includes (.i) files has been corrected...
    • While saving configuration ADV testes if the internal save buffer is full, this testing had an stupied error causing AutodocViewer to always believe the save buffer was full (ready for writting), making the save routine extremely slow... No wonder I couldn't optimize it more than 20%... Now it's extremely fast... The optimization done in the beta v1.16 are probably as succsess full as the optimization of loading configuration...



Yesterday, 24th November, I experienced a major harddrive crash :-(

I tried to correct the errors that occured on the disk, but with no luck, the result of this little f***up was a complete loss of my internet partition, which included

  • My personal emails since the day I got online >:->>
  • AutodocViewer mailinglist
  • About 50mb of news
  • Bookmark list
  • My homepage, but I have just downloaded it from the ftp server :-)
  • Pese <-> Amiga networking
  • Configuration of all online applications
  • My address book
With only one day of work and some phone calls, I have managed to setup the partition back to it's original state.



AutodocViewer Lite v2.0 BETA 1.16 is now available, major optimizations of the configuration files, about 70 percent speed improvment.


Reported autodocs with errors, cybergraphics.doc and cgx3dvirgin.doc both found on CyberGraphX CD v4, find out what to do or download corrected autodocs.




A4000 Power Flyer by Elbox, arrived today from PowerComputing Ltd.




I just recived Kickstart v3.1 to my Amiga 1200 from DataKompaniet A/S, now I can run AmigaOS 3.5 on all my Amiga's :-)




Some autodocs containing errors has been corrected and are available for download. Permission from Steffen Haeuser author of rtgmaster and Sam Jordan from Haage & Partner creator of WarpUp has been granted to correct these autodocs for public release, thanx guys!!! Note that the download page are a part of AutodocViewer Lite v2.0 html documentation.


I have recived some cd-roms and added Aminet 32, Aminet 33, AmigaOS 3.5, WipeOut 2097 and The Amiga Unix Compendium v1.2 to the cd-rom list.




AutodocViewer Lite v2.0 beta v1.15 are now available, this asap release has removed one bug which made the beta v1.14 completely useless, some optimizations and one new feature also implemented.




Just after the release of ADV beta v1.14, I found one bug that could cause a system failure 8-(
This has now been removed with some other minor bugs. Also, AutodocViewer are now able to open on any public screen or on own screen.




A new beta release of AutodocViewer Lite v2.0 is now available! Many new features has been implemented, bugs removed and also some optimazations.




I recived AmigaOS 3.5 from PowerComputing Ltd.
