EasyAssign is for management of assigns at bootup of your Amiga, it's intuitive and easy to use.
EasyAssign consists of two a small applications, EasyAssignPrefs and EasyAssign.

Requirements

You need AmigaOS 3.0 or higher and 68020 CPU or higher to run EasyAssign

Installation

There is yet no install script (sorry!!), so you have to install EasyAssign manually.

Copy EasyAssignPrefs with it's icon to your prefs drawer (or any other drawer)
Copy EasyAssign to your C drawer (or any other drawer)
Add the following line in the beginning of your S:User-Startup

run >NIL: C:EasyAssign

Or if you like you can add it into your S:Startup-Sequence after the setpatch command and remove all assigns into startup-sequence, you must add these assigns in EasyAssignPrefs.
The run is optional, since EasyAssign returns almost at once.

Usage

You can execute EasyAssignPrefs from CLI or from Workbench, there is yet no arguments or tooltypes support (beta :-)).

The window that appears when executeing EasyAssignPrefs has alot of gadgets,

• Listview gadget, shows all assign names, target paths, type of assignment and highlights the selected assignment
• New button gadget, creates a new assignment
• Delete button gadget, deletes selected assignment
• Edit button gadget, edit the selected assignment
• Top button gadget, move the selected assignment to of list
• Up button gadget, move the selected assignment one upward in list
• Down button gadget, move the selected assignment one downward in list
• Bottom button gadget, move the selected assignment to bottom of list
• Save button gadget, save the assigns created, does not quit
• Use button gadget, ghosted (beta :-))
• Quit button gadget, exit EasyAssignPrefs, does not ask if you made some changes.

Does support icon drag n drop in all windows.
