Raven Mc is a club for motorcyckleriders in the Norwegian armed forces.  We are open to bikes and riders of all kinds, ages and sexes.
The club was startet in the spring of 2002 and we have some 50 members from all over the country, from Stavanger in the south to Vardø up north.  We are an international club because we also have some members among Norwegian armed forces stationed abroad.

Since we have taken both our logo and our name from the nordic mythologi, we dont have a president but a "høvding" (cheftain).  And we dont arrange treffens, but "blot".
We do not plan on a very high level of activity.  Most of our members are also members in other clubs like
NAF Mc, Senior Mc, NMCU and Varanger Mc.

As earlier mentioned we have our name and logo from the old nordic mythologi where it is told that the god Odin had two ravens.  They were called "Hugin" and "Munin", which means "thought" and "memory".  Every morning, at daybreak, Hugin and Munin flies out over all the countries in the world.  And while Odin stays at home waiting for his friends, he sings:

Hugin and Munin all mornings
flying on wings all over the world
Hugin I miss late is his return
but more and more at Munin I stare

At dawn the ravens return and take their place on Odins shoulders to tell him all they have seen and heard.  That is why Odin is the wisest of all the Gods and why he is called "The raven god".

As most clubs with homepages we try to present ourselves with a photoalbum.  You will find it at the startpage.  And if you wish to get in contact with us, send us a mail.
