One day me and my buddy got a bright idea. Why don't attach one end of a spool of video tape to my funflyer, firewall the trottle and see what happens?
Take off. So far, so good. The spool spins and jumps around on the grass.
I case you wondered, the length of tape in a 260 min is 370 meters (1110 foot) You can only see about one quarter of it in this picture.
After some time, 3/4 of the tape did let go. Still quite long!
Towards the end of the flight, I started to dogfight myself! I won, ofcource! :)
....or maybe I did not? The tape eventually stopped my MDS (when idling) and forced me down. Still fun!
