BIG cessna!

Handstarting a Cessna. You should have seen that glowbattery!! *This* big, atleast!! :)

Funny engine problems!

When flying my funfly the engine abruptly stopped. When I glided it back to the field I noticed a strange position of the engine. After landing I saw that the engine had seperated from the plane just hanging by the two silicon tubes! Rather amusing, I think!
After some CA and kicker the plane hit the skies again.

.....But only for a few minutes. Due to severe elevator-flutter It put the engine into the field while sounding like a V2 bomb!
The reason for the flutter was a very sloppy elevator linkage.

The bastard plane!

This is my buddy's .....ehh.. It's some kind of low-winged airplane.
Letmesee....

The fuselage is from his 3rd airplane which my Cub detroyed the wing of when we landed in the opposite direction and collided on the ground!.

The wing is from my first low-winged plane, a QB 25L powered by a OS 70FS (!!). I had the battery taped right infront the tail to balance it... I destroyed the fuselage when it for some unknown reason decided to roll into the ground right after a touch-and-go. Maybe the big vibrator upfront vibrated something loose!
I still have the tail, just in case.

The tail is from his 2nd plane which midaired with my dreaded Cub! Read about it somewhere else. By the way, the Cub is now winged, so there will be no more pictures of the Cub.

The plane has only one wheel, the nosewheel. no problem!

Take a closer look on the multicolored wing. Notice that the left wing has some of the covering missing. I was ripped off by some tall weed thingys during a high speed lowpass!! The missing covering did not noticely affected the flying qualities. I was still just bad!

This is another buddy's plane. When he was flying, the engine quit and he glided it back for is best touchdown ever.... and hit this stupid 'Field is closed' sign....

Shit *does* happen!!
