How to recirculate a old, tired Cub!

Click on the picures to make them bigger

Is your Cub full of holes and wierd-colored patches?

Is it so full of glue and fuelsoaked balsa that it barely can lift itself of the ground?

Does people suddenly outburst 'Oh, it's a Cub!' after they have been looking on it for 10 minutes?

Does people ask 'Can it fly with that wingtip hanging out in the breeze?'

Does the wing look fine, exept for the missing wingtips?

.......

If your ansvers is mostly 'Yes' then do like i did:

1: Cut off the remainings of the wingtips.
2: Cut away the centerpiece
3: Join the two wings witout any dihedral or sweep.
4: install a pair of yaw stabilizers at the wingtips.
5: install a 25 engine, tank, small servos (HS 80) and radioequipment and set it up for elevon-mode.
6: Balance it at 15% and make the elevons point 10 degrees up when the stick is in neutral

... and it might end up looking like this:

It flies as good as it looks!! Remarkely stable unnless in high speed due to a tad pitch instabilty. And it does superperb flatspins, which is impossible to get out of no matter how much you trow the sticks around!!
I have this on video, I might get it converted to .mpg for those of you with big modems!
