The Coke-plane

How to make a plane:

1: buy and drink one medium bottle coke (plastic bottle preferred :)

2: buy one (or more) Fuel-To-Noise converters (.049 cox)

3: Find a cardbord-tube on the kitchen

4: buy some styrofoam (or steal it from your local constuction site) and some balsa.

5: buy the other stuff needed.

6: Put it together any way you like, or like this:

This plane acutally flies well, and my buddy learned to fly on this thing!!

....he also learned to fix it!

Here is a version with two FTNC's. The sound was big and ...noisy!
Until he enlarged the rudder, one-engine-out flying really sucked. It was only possible to circle towards the dead engine. He had to circle until the other engine stopped too. !

This time the ground catched it before the other little sucker stopped!

The cox'es drew fuel from the same 4 ounce tank located in the center of the wing. It was difficult to adjust them equally and usually one of them stopped before the other one.

It's very fun to make unusual planes!
