GRENSEN lies beatifully beside a lake close to the swedish border in southern Norway. The area is wellknown for it`s mighty mountains, desolate forests, glittering lakes and rivers. It`s perfect for outdoor activities both summer and winter. We have rooms of different style to an affordable price. The special " Besheim " is situated alone in the wilderness, and this place gives you total freedom from the rest of the world. Here is no electricity, telephones or TV. Just the wilderness around.

BESHEIM is a wonderful place alone by a lake where boat  is available. This place do also have a finnish style sauna!   Rent incl. boat: Nkr. 500,-/day.

ARNEBO cabin has:  livingroom, modern kitchen, 3 bedrooms w/ 7 beds, open fire, bathroom, 86 m2, Nkr. 750,-/day.

ACTIVITIES

In the winter this area is wonderful for different skiing-activities. It is close to two of Scandinavias biggest alpine skicenters. There are also great possibilities to go fishing in the winter. Then we fish on the ice, and make a hole in the ice catching the fish beneath. This is a very exiting experience. We can also offer dog-sledding. It can be a short trip, or a tour over several days when you experience the artic woods and mountains.

The area  do also have different types of summer-activities. Here are some samples: Canoe, Go-cart, Fishing - Safari, Gold - Panning, Fishing, Rafting, Hiking, Beaches, Tennis, etc.

We must also mention that this place is very fine for families with children, and for people who like outdoor life and activities. We do also speak English and German.
