TRA2 - Small Transformer Optimization

Demonstration of principles of optimized design.

The program is used to demonstrate the principles of optimization of electrical machines, and is made as simple as possible. The transformers are small, single phase, with two round wire layer windings. The cost of the transformer plus losses is minimized, and limits on temperature rise and reactance are met automatically. The entire program with source code and everything is in the demo and freely available. It can be downloaded from the home page.
