My research interests include optimized design of transformers
and rotating electrical machines, finite element field calculations and circuit
analysis. I have developed computer programs for PCs in all these areas. The
first three (IEEE CAP) publications below give an overview of the programs.

PC-Programs
Most early versions of the programs were made for MS-DOS before Windows became
the dominant operating system, some of them even before the age of personal
computers. They are now being run under Command Prompt, which is found in Windows Accessories.
Commands are typed on the keyboard and executed by striking Enter.
Recent changes in Windows have made it necessary to reprogram the graphics with
Visual Basic 2008. Computers running the programs must have Windows XP or
Windows 32-bit (not 64-bit) Vista or 7.

Demo Programs
A zip-file should be downloaded into an empty directory.
Double-clicking will extract the files. All the files will appear in this directory,
also those that appear in \GRAPHICS in the full versions.
The demo will be run under Command Prompt. To get instructions, double-click on MESSAGE.
FLD6.ZIP
The demo can do everything the full version can, except that it is limited to
5000 nodes (60000 in the full version).
FLD12.ZIP
The demo allows the user to analyze his own transformer, but it is restricted
to two layers (windings). The full version can have up to 30.
TRA2.ZIP
The entire program with source code and everything is in the demo.
ACCAN.ZIP
The demo can do everything the full version can, except that it is limited to
50 variables (node voltages + branch currents) and 5 mutual reactances.
The full version can have up to 500 of each.
