Marius Haraldsen, born 16.03.81, is the lead singer and bassguitarist in DIVIDE. He’s the author of all of their lyrics. He loves music, and want to make music as his future occupation. He’s playing on a Tobias bass, and loves his bass more than anything else, beside his rat, Ylva. Today he’s working as a trumpet teacher and as a chef. He is considered as the serious part of the members in DIVIDE, but indeed a social and nice guy.

Peder Marius Melbostad, born 21.12.80, plays the guitar and gives out some painful yells. He plays a Yamaha guitar, and is the one who gives the heavy bad guitar sounds. He comes up with most of the riffs in DIVIDE. He’s the only member in DIVIDE which is also interested in sports. He’s originally from Nepal, but has lived in Norway since he was just a year old. He’s considered as the bands "Gangster", but even he is a nice, social young man.

Bent Tegneby Catai, born 31.3.81, is the rough and heavy rhythms of DIVIDE. He spends his time playing Tama drums. He makes all the drum rhythms, and comes often up with how the songs shall be(or at least how he would like them to be). He’s half Hungarian and got gray hair. His greatest interests is to sleep and eat, and sometimes he probably likes to play in a band. He is considered as the lazy member of DIVIDE, but sometimes he also comes out from his room to see how the world is like.

DIVIDE comes from a little place called Ski. It lays half hour away from Oslo, Norway. DIVIDE has got some experience playing live from different shows round in Scandinavia. Their music is a sort of heavy, metallic, hardcore metal which contains the brutal DIVIDE sound and attitude. They was founded in early March 1997, and has during that time becomed a well known band in Ski communicipality. The whole band lives for their music, and that shows when you see them live.

During summer 1997, they recorded a song called "Eyes" to a CD called "Rockelunsj" which contains only amateur bands from Ski. Winter 1998, they recorded their own demo EP, which contains 4 of their best songs + one live track:
