My letters to Jehovah's Witnesses Governing Body. For those of you who don't know what this body are. It consists of a group of men who consider themselves to be the "faithful and discreet slave" mentioned in Matthew 25. They believe that Jesus has appointed them overseer's over "all his belongings". In short, they consider themselves to be the leaders of the only true religion on earth to day. The number of this group varies. They have been as many as 17, but settled for a time with 12 members. However, quite recently 3 of the eldest member, all over 90 years of age has died, and only one new member has been added, so they currently number only 10. Well, belonging to the top echelons of God's elected or chosen elite who togeheter with currently 6 + Mill. JW's will be the only survivor's of Armageddon, which is now as usual extremely near, they naturally tend to have quite an inflated opinion of themselves. When one enjoys such an imaginary close "relationship" with God, believing that one are the only living on earth today who can understand the Bible, this tend to have a rather disastrous effect on ones personality. They don't take kindly to people who dares to disagree with them. It doesn't make things better that they are ruling the WT organization by decree's. To make it even more difficult these rules undergo quick arbitrary changes. These men surround themselves with nodders and yes men in the extreme, the slightest little sign of disagreement can cause problems. The thought of writing critical and sarcastic letters to these men in their ivory towers appealed very much to me. At first I was convinced the letters would be thrown away on sight. But something happened that showed me this wasn't the case. In the 1 October 1993 and 1 July 1994, Watchtower issue , did display an amount of outrageous hate and anger against "apostates" hardly seen before. I remain convinced that my letters had something to do with those articles. That my letters was being read, and filed in Brooklyn became abundantly clear to me this year, when some of these letters appeared in a court case in which I were a witness here in Norway.
