This letter is to be read at the first full meeting of the Governing Body.

Dear Ayathollas of Brooklyn

Well, here we are again. You guys really went ahead and did what I suggested in my latest letter. I just received the 8. November Awake. I suspected that you didn't have a clue. Now I know it.

Do you poor devils really believe in the teaching about the 1914 generation? Have you repeated it so many times that you actually believe in the hopeless drivel?

Why do you think anything is going to happen this time? Haven't you learned by now that absolutely nothing happens when you guys say it will? Poor old Fred and George waited in vain, and so will you. None of you will ever live to experience Armageddon. Why? You're all born to late. Armageddon is over, years ago. The only "end" you will ever experience is your own. Just like all human beings must. The majority of you will probably not even live to see the beginning of the next century, and will be spared the humility when the day comes when even your most holy dogma, the year 1914 must be discarded, just like the year 1874, was.

It is indeed sad to witness your inability to comprehend the most basic and simple facts about yourself and the so-called "organization". It is just another man made organization who has made all the classic mistakes of assuming the authority of God himself. You have taken upon yourself to rule millions of peoples lives like you're The Almighty. It has as usual, gone horribly wrong, and you will see to it that it continuos to go wrong as long as your alive, aren't you?

So you have bought yourselves a few more months by stating that the "generation" is now 80 years we can expect the end to come very soon. In a year or so you will still have to find an explanation why Armageddon didn't show up this time either. Your not really going to produce some half-baked story of a "generation" being longer than eighty years are you? I mean even you couldn't get away with that one. Of course you cannot come clean and admit its just pure poppycock, can you? Well, I can only tell you we will keep an eye on you. The general public won't be kept in the dark about the teaching of the "generation", so you won't be able to gloss over this mistake, like you have done with countless others.
