Oslo 01.06.94 Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania Attention: Governing Body 25 Columbia Hights, Brooklyn N.Y. 11201, USA This letter is to be read at the first full meeting of the Governing Body. Congratulations with the healthy decrease in publishers in Norway, Denmark and Sweden, according to the annual report in
the Watchtower. We told you that you should expect this in our letter to you of 07.12.92. It is really refreshing to see one's
predictions fulfilled, a satisfaction you poor guys never have experienced. Your "batting average" when it comes to
predictions is 100% failure. Absolutely dismal, but to be expected. We are grateful for the information in the Kingdom ministry, that only a third of the witnesses read the Watchtower. We suspect this is a far too optimistic estimate. As we have touched upon before, it must be a terrible strain for any human being to treat their brain to all the totally hopeless swill your printing. As we are fast approaching 1995 you probably realize that that year is the absolute last year for your 1914 generation. When we celebrate new year 1995, we celebrate the funeral of yet another of your totally hopeless teachings. You really do cling on to this one don't you? Nobody - not even your most devout followers will have much faith in the "generation" after 1994. Then the little note in the Awake! magazine - you know the one where you tell us that it is the Creator who has made the promise about the 1914 generation, will be another embarrassment. Not for you of course, but for the Creator, who as usual will get the blame. So you guys can look forward to some congratulations in early 1995. It seems to be impossible for you guys to do anything
which even remotely could be passing as decent in this matter. It is not impossible you see. We recently read how to do it in
the Plain Truth magazine of September 1993. It is a refreshing approach by the Editor-in-Chief Joseph W. Tkach. The title
is: Prediction Addiction, which among other things said: "Our long-time readers know that The Plain Truth and the Worldwide Church of God have in the past placed to much
emphasis on the when of prophecy. For example, the Great Depression and World War II prompted us to predict several
failed end-time scenarios." The article then goes on with this: "Based upon the prophecies of Daniel, which had previously tripped up so many, we began to point to 1975 as the probable
date for the return of Christ. Today we understand that we were wrong to have labeled as plain truth what was in reality only
speculative interpretation. As Christians, we should long for and live for the day of Christ's return, but we should not proclaim
as truth what he has nor given us to know." But of course, you have made it somewhat more difficult for yourselves to follow this good example than the Armstrong people, haven't you? It has become a matter of prestige with you now. None of you have the courage, the guts and the decency to come out and
say that your whole so-called chronology is a sham. That your dogmas about the parousia in 1914 and the 1914 generation is
just as hopeless, as were 1799, 1874, 1878, 1881,1925 and 1975. If you are to be credited with some sense at all you must
have been aware of this for years by now. What? You didn't known it? You really want us to believe that? Anyway, now
you know! Somehow we don't think your going to do anything about it. We will probably have to wait long into the next
century before we for the first time in the Society's history can read anything having the slightest resemblance with truth and
honesty in the Watchtower. In spite of its name The Plain Truth Magazine, really took it's time too, before it was ready to live
up to its name. It really makes you stop and think doesn't it. All these magazines and newspapers, political and religious
organizations, all of them always using the word "truth". The only thing you can be sure of when such organizations and their
magazines use that particular word is that it's just the opposite! The truth are in serious trouble when the people claiming to be
it's proclaimers and defenders can't open their mouth in public without lying. It is really pathetic to witness how you are falsifying your history in Mexico. After years of posing as an "cultural"
organization, just because you wanted to get around Mexican law about religious organizations being restricted from owning
property. You now try to give the impression that you have been under some kind of ban in Mexico, not being allowed to
start your meetings with prayer and not using the Bible from door to door. You know perfectly well that there was never any
such restriction on religious practices in Mexico. These restrictions was implemented by yourselves from Brooklyn, for the
sole purpose of you being able to own your property in Mexico. Despicable! Are there absolutely no limit's to how low you
are willing to stoop in order to gloss over your own history of lying and cheating. We se that you also want to get complete control over who's filled in their "blood" cards. This is quite clear from your latest
method of registering those in the congregation who follow your orders - and of course those who don't. Your appetite for
control over your fellow man seems insatiable. You never seem to get enough when it comes to interfering in peoples lives,
never leaving the slightest bit for them to decide on their own. You seem to be terrified of the mere thought that someone in
your organization, apart from yourselves of course, should decide anything personally. You are becoming legendary in that you never let truth and facts interfere with your doctrines. But time will tell. In time it will
become clear even to those "faithful" who never dared to investigate their religion, that it was at least as false as those
condemned to death in the Watchtower. Now lean back and enjoy The International Armageddon year, and prepare for the
long overdue funeral of the "Creator's" 1914 generation. The longest "generation" in human history. The next in line is the
ridiculous teaching about the parousia and 1914, which is just as hopeless as the parousia and 1874, but your going to cling
on to it, as long as possible, as usual, until time slaps you in the face. Oh, We are aware of your plans to change your 1914 dogma by linking both the "generation" and Christ parousia to a future start of the "great tribulation". The talk given in the 1993 summer assemblies is obviously the first step in this direction. This new and totally hopeless nonsense will no doubt be presented as "new light", which really should be read "new rot".
So good luck with your new, "new light". We will se to it, that it will not be so "new", when you print it in the Watchtower. You really must be desperate to buy the Society a few more years. Rutherford managed to move the parousia and the
"beginning of the end" from 1874 to 1914. This time you must be a bit more sophisticated and not be so stupid as to link
these events to a new year. Maybe you can try to link it to some future "great tribulation". What a privilege and how
rewarding it must be to belong to an organization where "God" has managed to string people along in over a hundred years
with a lot of hopeless examples of "new light", which always turned out to be utter nonsense, and replaced with more "new
light" which in turn proved to be just as hopeless as the "truth" is was supposed to replace. Another event that brought us much amusement was your article about what is a "cult", in the 15 of February 1994, Watchtower. Although you tried your best to avoid it you couldn't help that the definition of what a "cult" is, stuck like glue to your own Watchtower organization. But you do not only deserve to be criticized, you deserve some praise too. Your articles in the 22. of may, Awake! magazine
really was helpful, and brought new momentum to our information work. Now nobody can claim that they are unaware of
how fanatic you are when it comes to medical use of blood. The spirit of Jim Jones is alive and well in Brooklyn. Likewise is the article in the 1 of July Watchtower a gem. We are really honored and grateful that we have now replaced the catholic church as your number one target in your hate and slandering campaigns. An excellent proof that our information is effective. It will no doubt also be of interest to the media. Frankly, we think that the people who has written that particular article would do well with a thorough examination by a good psychiatrist. People who are capable of and willing to put so much sick, twisted and perverted drivel in print, really should get medical treatment as soon as possible. It is obvious to more people than us that you are rapidly loosing what little grasp you must have had of reality. But everything must evidently be done to draw the attention of the "faithful" away from the embarrassing failure of the
"1914 generation". But this time we will see to it that it will be impossible for you to sweep it under the carpet, by your
usual feeble excuses. This time you must "face the music". We have recently heard rumors that the "new light" about the great tribulation is already about to be replaced. If so, you are
really surpassing yourselves. The average life expectancy of the Watchtower "truth" is really getting shorter and shorter. Well, that's all for now.
