As you might know, this is not the first homepage I make about myself. The old one you may take a look at here, if you wish. But please keep in mind that it hasn't been maintained since 1998, so it's not a very pretty sight. And anyway, at that time html had just come to version 2. Today, there's so many more possibilities. Now common html has come to version 4, in addition to dhtml and xml. Each with a lot of functions, which makes it possibly to create much prettier sites than back in the day. Despite that, I've chose to use a rather traditional layout for these pages. My main project now a days, despite these pages, is to learn Linux. Right now I use Mandriva Linux Limited Edition 2005 dual booting with Windows on my pc. And I must say that Linux has a lot of advantages over Windows, though it has it's weaknesses. Mainly it's brilliant for Office tasks, due to it's excellent stability and a good range of applications. But it's also nice as a safer alternative, while surfing on the Internet. The main weakness is, though it has gotten a lot better recently, poorer hardware support than what Windows got. |
