OFF
THE WALL was Michael Jackson's first solo album
as an adult, produced by Quincy Jones with Michael
co-producing the three songs which he wrote
('Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough', 'Working
Day And Night' and 'Get On The Floor').
It
was the first album ever to produce four Top Ten
singles in the US; the #1 'Don't Stop 'Til You
Get Enough', the #1 'Rock With You', 'She's Out
Of My Life' and 'Off the Wall'. The two #1 singles
sold more than one million copies each, and 'Off
the Wall' stayed on Billboard's Top 100 Albums
chart for 84 weeks, selling more than five million
copies in the U.S. and another three million worldwide.
In
Britain an additional single, Girlfriend, was
also released.
