Hanne and Joachim Balken has
both chosen
to show our Lhasa's in the junior handler
Competition. They have put down a lot of hard
work and training to learn how to show them
to the perfection.
They are both born into this dog world, and when
they don't show for us, they show either their parents
Papillon's and Phalene's, or other breeds whoever
is asking for help. I just love this kids as my own.

Joachim did a very good job in
Norwegian juniorhandler Final
at Hamar 2003, showing Greta better than ever.
He was placed as nr 3, but for a
moment we thought he was going to win.
Well done Joachim, we are very
proud of you.

Greta is always shown to the perfection when you
show her,
I think I'm just as proud as
your parents.
It's a joy to see you and Greta together,
Even you don't own
any Lhasa's, you are able to get
the very best out of her, just as you
do with
any dogs in your lead, marvelous, and you do it so
natural.
She won the Junior handler final the same
weekend with a Siberian Husky,
and was representing Norway at Cruft's 2003.
Well done Hanne,

A very young Hanne showing Greta to Best In
Show
at
the Norwegian Lhasa Spesialty 2001.
Hanne has always shown
our Lhasa's to the
perfection, and I'm very proud to say
that
all judges she has been showing under, is saying the same.
Judge: Kari Haave, Sweden, kennel Travis.

Here she is pictured with Multi Ch MultiWinner
Midnight Spesial, winning
one of the
qualifying rounds for the Juniorhandler
final 2000.
She qualifyed for the final with different breeds and
chose an Siberian Husky
for the final,
where she became second.
2003 she whent to the final with the same Husky,
and wan the juniorhandler
final again. Well done Hanne!
Her background is with
Phalene's and Papillon's,
witch she was born into, and her parents let her
show from time to time, and when she was old enough
to compete in
Juniorhandling, her father, Steinar Balken,
gave her the basic training.
After a while she was ready for a new challenge, and
then they came to us for
training with our Lhasas.
She is so easy to train, she does every thing you
say,
very gentle with the dogs, and never overdone.
A real natural
talent.

Here she is pictured winning the Juniorhandler
final in
1998 with the judge:
Marit Sunde and the
Lhasa she started with: BIS BISS Multi Ch
Multi Winner San
Jo Shutter Speed.
He was a wonderful dog to show, and he and Hanne
was quite a team. They had a
very special contact
together, he did everything she asked for, gladly.
Hanne has shown other Lhasas for us, with
tremendous
success. She is planning to work as a groomer and
handler, first in
Denmark to learn the basic and to get a
smooth start, for then to go to USA
to
work as an professional.
Thank you for helping us out, and good luck
in the future.
I think many people will hear about this young lady!
