About my family

This Web-site started as an experiment, but I have decided that the experimenting phase is over. It is time to move a step further. 

Having put a lot of time behind me - and accordingly have a limited future in front of me - these pages will be influenced by a retrospective touch. Much of this site will be dedicated to my family, my ancestors and their everyday life, which never stops fascinating me. There may be a few flashbacks on my own childhood and adolescence, a period that was rather conclusive on how I was formed as an individual. My family - who has put up with me for an increasing number of decades - would also deserve to be complimented.

The contents of these pages will probably not be of much interest to most people. But maybe my relatives, from far and near, home and abroad, will find it useful to pop in occasionally. Advise and assistance from a good net friend has enabled me to convert my genealogy register to make it legible on these pages, and an Ahnentafel Book starting with my great-great-great-grandparents Bertel Hansen Holm and Maren Lorentzdatter is available on a separate page. This report includes all descendants after Bertel and Maren that I've been able to identify, and ends until further with Matilyn  Elaine Allen, born Jan 10, 2000, in Maysville, Oklahoma.
