Aperi

This town are situated up in the mountains (320 moh), it was the old capital on the island. Among other things it's now the seat of the Archbishop of Karpathos / Kassos.

The town is also one of the richest in all of Greece. We recommend that you visit the beautiful church. There is a very special history to the church.

If you go for a walk around the village, you will find a lot of nice buildings.
