Dead spruce 2. It was a lot easier to get the landscape version of this shot sharp. All 7 attempts were about this quality. Notice the mist above the lake. The lake was still covered with ice, and after sunset the air over the ice cooled very rapidly. In the cool, water vapour condensated into an ever thickening mist. Got kinda spooky at midnight...:-) Tech: FA*400/5.6 at f/11, 8s. 1 stop underexposed. tripod. Film: Kodak E100VS
