LAKSELV-VANDRINGEN

The controlmarks are in A6 size, yellow with black number-kombinations. The marks are plastlaminatet. Write down the controllnumbers, time and date in the rubrics, and also your name and adress behind this paper. The walk is about 10 km long with a short distance of 6 km, and goes partly on asphalt and in country.

10 km track:
You start at Esso petrol station and take left on the sidewalk to Statoil. There you cross the E6 at the pedestrian crossing. Turn left and follow the sidewalk. After Mega you cross the Sentrum street and Meieriveien, and walk another 100 m before you turn right into the park. Walk straight through the park to E6 and turn right. After 30 m you turn left against Ildskog. Walk past the red building at your right hand side, and take the first path to the right. Walk straight on to the first high tension pole. Follow the high tension line straight on until you come to a green transformer on your left. KONTROLL NR. 1 (1,5 km). Go on about 100 m and turn half right. You will after some time pass the building Bygger'n on your right. Cross the E6 and turn left. Turn right in the first crossroad. You are now in Holmenveien. After passing the workshop hall to Mesta, you take the first drive to the parking area in front of Lakselv Trafikkstasjon. At a electric pylon you will find KONTROLL NR. 2 (2,4 km). Take the next drive out to Holmenveien again and turn left. After a few meters, you turn left into Bakkelyveien. Walk to the next crossroad and turn left again. When you come down the slope, you have the most northen golf links at both side of the road. Follow the gravel-road further on until you come to KONTROLL NR. 3 (3,8 km) which you will find at a high tension pole on the your left side of the road, and short after a asphalt road. Turn right here. Follow the road until you come to another smaler green transformer on your left. About 30 m before the transformer it will stand a sign with the following text F184-01 KM 1. Here you turn left, and follow the path against the river. At the river you take the path to the right and follow this path along the river. Walk up the sand-hill until you come inside the fence. Follow the path to the left along the fence. Cross the gravel-road that goes down to the river, and follow the path to the left upon the hillside until you are about 30 m from beeing back to the settlement again. KONTROLL NR. 4 (5,4 km) just before. Here you turn left and follow the path down to the first level. Cross this level and take the path to the right between the electric pylon and the fence. Follow the path along the fence until you come to a gravelridge. Walk along the middle of the gravelridge and turn left at the end.

Follow the graveledge to a crossing old road. Turn right and follow this old road until the road fork. Here you turn right and follow this road along the old river bed. When the old road ends in a gravelroad, you turn right into a path and follow this to a new old road. Turn right again and follow this road. At the first large birch to the left KONTROLL NR. 5 ( 6,5 KM) Go on along the road straight on until you comes to E6. Cross the E6 and follow the sidewalk to the left as far as the busstop after a yellow house. Atr the busstop, you choose the path to the right into the forest, and comes out in Sarpollaringen. After about 60 m you take the sidewalk that follow Sarpollaringen on the right, and continue to a crossing sidewalk. Then you turn left, and after about 100 m you turn right. You are now in Galokkaringen. Follow this sidewalk straight ahead until you have a garage at your left hand side. KONTROLL NR. 6 (7,7 km) at the corner of the garage. Go on, and you passing Bærtua kindergarten, to Saarelaveien and go on to the right along this.You will pass Rantiveien on your right and Karhuringen on your left. Turn left into the sidewalk along Resikkaringen and follow this until the road end into Neidamaringen. Here you turn left and after about 15 m, left again. Follow the gravelroad straight ahead to the fence, where you turn right. (Don't follow the road to the right) Follow the fence up the hill, and than the old road to the settlement. Here you turn left into Hans A. Opstadsvei. Follow this road, and you will have a green building on your left and the road turning to the right. Follow the road straight on to Hjelpemiddelsentralen in Prder Sivetsens vei. You pass Laatasveien on your left. Now you follow the asphfalt road for walkers that leave Hjelpemiddelsentralen and pass the townhall (a red house of brick). Go on between DnB NOR and Sparebank1. Cross the marketplace with Bunnpris on your left. Walk straight ahead past Luostejok Kraftlag on your left and Mψbler & Utstyr on your right. Turn right into Arne M. Holdens vei, and follow this to the sidewak along E6. Here you turn rightt and are back at Esso.

6 km track:
You start at Esso petrol station and follow the sidewalk to the right. Cross the E6 at the first pedestrian crossing. Turn right and follow the sidewalk until you have passed the crossroad with sign Klemetstad. Follow the sidewalk down the hill and turn right into Smψrstadbrinken. Follow Smψrstadbrinken until it ends into Eineveien. There you go straight ahead 30 m on the path to the right of a garage. At an electric pylon you find KONTROLL NR. 1 (1,4 km) that is no. 4 at the 10 km. Walk back again a few meters and take the path downhills. From there you follow the description for the 10 km.
