"I thought we were supposed to be inconspicious."

"Hmm?"

"You're overdoing it, Faust. They're beginning to get suspicious here."

"Sometimes you have to play a little rough to get things the way you want them to be."

"It's against the rules, and you know it. Every time we overdo it, we get--"

"Hey, ever heard of miracles? We have to overdo it once in a while, you know, to keep those many believers alert."

"Yeah, but that's not really our job, plus I wouldn't exactly call what you're doing, miracles-- sooner disasters, catastrophies--"

"I would say it is our job, we're interference Gods, remember? And besides, the more disasters I perform, as you call them, the more miracles you have to make, to maintain the balance...am I right?"

"Whatever, whatever...but the incident with the air plane was just plain tacky, Faust. Really, that was too obvious, too unimaginative--"

"Don't worry, Oktava, it'll get better...or rather worse, eh?"

"Know what, Faust, there's only one thing you're really good at."

"What's that, Oktava?"

"Giving me a ton of reasons why I should look forward to Dust Day."

"Always a pleasure. And do you know what you're good at?"

"What?"

"Bad matchmaking."

"Shut up."
