I started reading the black-and-white when Eastman & Laird were caught up with the TVshow/movie/multimedia phenomenon and had guest artist after guest artist after guest artist taking over the book. It was really liberating to me, believe it or not, to see how the same characters were re-read, whole worlds invented, only to drop the same action figures in a different setting next week, and have the characters survive without much visible damage. That's where these stories comes from."

Reality  Check

This is a story about what might've happened if I, Lola, had stumbled into an alternative dimension, in which the turtles lived. Starts out lightly, but gets more darker. Confusion, paranoia and heartbreak. Which is the real world? I learn that there are some differences from the turtles I knew to the turtles I am now living with, and that I have to treat them as real persons with real feelings...

A mentally imbalanced vampire is disturbing and following the turtles. She seeks friendship, but also has to overcome her natural vampiral urges. Mentally imbalanced vampire, mentally imbalanced story. Gore, weird humour, paranoia, (yep, more paranoia) creatures of the night start to fight...This story is not for the-- when it comes to literature-- prejudice people.

Mike has his own radio show...Raph joins, and they both get a lot of weird phonecalls on the show..."People know about us?" Bound to be fun. Used to be in the Short, Weird Things Section.

Vehemence

My take on the "female turtle" approach to TMNT fanfics. Oy, don't I get a say?  ^_^
This is a MAJOR rewrite of an old, campy tale that started out as a mix of the cartoon and the movies, and was called "Connections".
The new version is much darker, more serious-- but as always, not without humour-- and is based on the Mirages, and the first movie.
Accidents do happen, so meet Kiyouko, new turtle in town. But she's not planning to stay a turtle.
Good advice; get out yer japanese handbooks...

Okashi Okashi 

Means "funny/strange confectionery" in Japanese. Basically a tale that describes one very long day in all of the turtles' lives-- what they do and how they feel.
Action, comedy, let-downs, joy and horror... 
Although it starts with kind of a love scene, this story is a refreshing break from all the romance fanfics.
Turtle fans of the male persuation should like this one.
