1. GENERAL NEWS
---------------
Gary's new album is produced by Gary Moore and Chris Tsangerides, and it will be released in April '97 confirmed by Gary's Management. A track to be featured at the album is called 'I Have Found My Love In You' written in 1995 by Gary Moore alone. This is verified by Gary's Management. This track has only been heard by Virgin officials, but then in demo version. Gary's Management told me that the version to be featured at the album will be different. (Wish I could hear the demo version as well:), but who knows.....)
The new Thin Lizzy biography 'The Ballad of the Thin Man' was finally released by Boxtree 7. February.
The poem book 'Songs For While I'm Away' by Phil Lynott is also released now.
A friend of Rene Aagaard, managed to talk to Chris Thompson backstage on the lastest Manfred Man's Earth Band tour. Chris Thompson confirmed Gary played on another track with Chris during the recording for the 'Out Of The Night' album. This track is still unreleased today, Chris didn't remember the title, he confirmed it was a Paul McCartney song. So this is an offical confirmation to what Rene wrote in his GM Bible.
There has been started a Thin Lizzy
Digest called 'network of Wild Ones', This started on 4th January and pays
the respect of Phil Lynotts death. To subscribe to the digest mailing-list
send a e-mail to: RAS95ADE@lustudat.student.lu.se, To subscribe: "sign-up"
in the subject , To mail the digest: "Wild One: (your topic)" in the subject.
GAZ wishes Ozzie Adenborg good luck with his Thin Lizzy Digest, and look
forward to interesting reading.

In UK Keith Emerson has released an 5" CD-Single called 'Christmas Single', which includes the Gary Moore track 'Captain Starships Christmas'. This tracks doesn't feature on the re-issue of the 'Christmas Album' in UK. For further info read Tomoyuki's interview excerpt in Issue 8. There has been released another bootleg

The German Label CMP Records has release
a limited edition of :
- JACK BRUCE - The Collectors Edition
(83-95) - CMP CD 2010 - CMP Records - GER - 1996 - Includes 2 GM tracks:
Life On Earth (Bruce) 4:19/NSU (Bruce) 6:29 - This limited
edition has also Jack Bruce's last album 'Moonjack' (not with Gary) included
and a signed picture of Jack Bruce (same as the cover of 'Cities of The
Heart' CD) in thin paper box. This is the only difference to the normal
CD I reported in GAZ#5.
One non Gary Moore track 'Sitting
On Top Of The World (Burnett) - unreleased 4:22' CMP Records gives
credit to Dave 'Clem' Clempson on guitar, is recorded live 3rd of November,
Gary's parts are presumed to have taken place 2nd of November 1992. On
the WWW-page Gary is also credited to play the guitar on this song, this
is an typing mistake according to cover and what you hear of the song.
There is also an 'New-age/progressive' unreleased version of 'Politician'
with Jack.
Gary Moore is featuring on the Soundtrack
to 'Evita' also featuring Madonna, Antonio Banderas, Jimmy Nail etc. EVITA:

16 on the 2CD are featuring as one track on the Highlight 1CD as 'Eva's
Final Broadcast'. 'A New Argentina' (8.09) is edited to (4.16) on the Highlight
1CD.
Gary Moore is listed on the "principal
musicians" credits, and Tomoyuki Yamazaki thinks Gary plays on four or
five tracks: Requiem For Evita, Oh What A Circus, The Lady's Got Potential,
A New Argentina and MAYBE on Eva And Magaldi / Eva Beware Of The City.
(Ole-Johan adds following possible Gary Moore tracks: 'Hello And Goodbye',
Peron's Latest Flame', 'High Flying, Adored', 'Rainbow High' and 'And the
Money Kept Rolling In (and Out)') The CD booklet doesn't say who
plays on which tracks, so it's a guess. GAZ editors would like to hear
your comments about the 'Evita' album. Gary's Management has confirmed
that Gary plays on 'Requiem For Evita', but they will verify shortly if
Gary plays on more tracks. A very special thanks to Andy Stewart, who told
us about his discovery.
The Gary Moore Bible is finished from
the printer.

Moore Bio-Discography 1969-1994 (Mostly referred tp as 'GM Bible'), Send

I saw Van Halen on that tour. There
was a band called G-Force that opened for Van Halen. Being the Gary Moore
fanatic that I am, I was excited to see Gary play. Unfortunately, it was
ANOTHER band called G-Force. They sucked. Hope to see Gary in the US next
year.
Jim
Editors Note:
GAZ reported about this G-Force band
to be the one with Gary. But we later learned that this was wrong, and
have removed the section with G-force from the prevoius issues for new
readers. Thanks Jim, for putting the record straight.

Hello,
I know that the video has not
been released in the U.S.,but... if I happen to come across a copy, by
chance or by good luck or by fate, I was wondering if it would be VHS compatible? And
how much would I expect to pay for this? I am just dying to see him play
those songs live. Also has anyone ever seen a bootleg concert from THE
RITZ in Roseville Michigan from I think the Wild Frontier tour with Eric
Singer, Neil Carter and Bob Daisley?Geez you know what,I think I'm just
dying for a Gary Moore concert.I hope the new year is good to us all.

I'll get to next base as well:-)
So, if you want a newsgroup on Thin Lizzy - then go to alt.config and promote it!!

Subject: Out in the Fields cover
The latest edition of the band Riot has put out a cd called "The Brethren of the Long House" in which there is a cover song of "Out in the Fields. It doesn't sound too bad.As for the rest of the cd it sounds like a grouping of all your favourite high school metal bands(Older Riot, Maiden, Jaguar,Queensryche,Accept +too many to remember.)
Although most of us have probably matured , listening to this nostalgic music (for those in the 31-36 age group) is still better than this new alt-grunge crapola that is all over the airwaves here in North America.

I would be grateful if you would let your readers know about my site by printing this address in your next issue:
