MMM in Philadelphia

Hi:

This is my report on the MMM in philadelphia on May 4. The organizers, Chuck Palmer and Diane Fornbacher, did a superb job. We had about 100 participants at the peak.

Speakers included, but were not limited to, Ken Krawchuk, Carl Romanelli, Gene Laratonda, Diane Fornbacher, Chuck Palmer, and myself.

The MMM started at noon at the Federal Building. At about 1:00, we marched to the federal prison for a brief visit, and then marched to City Hall, where the action really blossomed. There was a continual din of honking cars, buses, and trucks. One automobile driver stopped his car right in his lane of traffic, jumped out, and participated for a few minutes.

The demonstration ended at about 3:30 PM.
