Oslo and Trondheim

From: freddie

In Trondhein there was about 200 people.
The same number as in Oslo 1999.

In Oslo about 1000+ marched.
A lot less than last year and the year before.

You should ask NORMAL
post@normal.no for more details.

I'm not a member there anymore. Due to political reasons some of us older
smokers are now leaving the organisation in protest.

NORMAL, Norway had this version of the Oslo and Trondheim MMM 2002

Adressed to Dana Beal

Hi Dana

Thank you for responding so quickly.

The photos you are referring to were taken in 2000, and are not from
this years event, which by the way was a very peaceful happening. So
as you can see the blood is real.

The photos and video from the 2002 event are for the moment being
worked on by our technical staff, and will be published soon at:
http://normal.no/mmm

The police told us: "There will be no arrests, as long as you don't
harm others than yourself." So you can say we have a professional
relationship with the authorities :)

The total numbers for the Oslo event is 3000

There was also a peacful demonstration in Trondheim with 200
participants.

Best regards

PS. We appreciated the posters we received for the 2002 event, and
would certainly like to receive 2500, or as much as you can deliver

The day before one hysteric person in NORMAL gave these not so happy message to the masses, Perhaps that person did belive they (NORMAL) was the only ones who had the legal right to report on the norwegian marches to the international lists. Remeber, this person have hated my websites for many years now... He think I speeks to freely when I say that the only result of the war aginst banned marijuana we should accept is totally free cannabis and cannabisproducts like hasheesh, marijuana, cannabinol and the right for everybody to grov their own in theire own homes and on their own fields. NORMAL belives in de-criminalization which in my opponion only leads to further criminalization on the cannabisuser. In other words; no victory at all!:

PLEASE IGNORE ALL LIES FROM FREDDIE FREAK!

It is true that Freddie Freak is no longer a member of NORMAL.

But you must not listen to him at all because it's a total lie when he
says: "In Oslo about 1000+ marched." If you ask him, he will certainly
deny that he told a lie to the whole world, but this is a guy that
shouldn't be trusted.

This can be verified by reading the estimates in norwegian newspapers:
http://www.dagbladet.no/nyheter/2002/05/04/328903.html
http://www.aftenposten.no/nyheter/iriks/article.jhtml?articleID=325614

The newspapers are telling us that over 2000 people marched in Oslo.

Best regards

All of us at NORMAL

Note: Here NORMAL tells us the number of marchers in Oslo was 2000, in the mail above they proudly tells us the number was 3000. My report (on top, of course :O), says about 1000+. How can we agree ? Oh what the heck, lets say there was a lot of happy people marching in spring-sunny Oslo! - This year like the year before, like the year.....

Another norwegian capasity had this comment to NORMALs hysteria:

Subject: It is NORMAL that should not be trusted - by anyone!!

I am sure there exists enough pictures and video footage to give an exact number of participants by simply counting us.
Amazingly, this has never been done.....makes one wonder why...

Let me put a couple of things straight: Normal is not a democratic legalization organization consisting of chosen representatives.
NORMAL is nothing but a bunch of old friends who do ANYTHING to protect each other, but do NOTHING to further our cause.

Typically, NORMAL has posted nothing on their own web site about said estimates, let alone the controversy that is fueleed every year at this time.
Nor have they been willing to comment on the dealings that have forced FreddieFreak  (they don`t even care to spell his name right)
and myself among many others to abandon NORMAL.

The letter you have recived from "all of us at NORMAL" is absolutely worthless.
Only one person is authorized by the owners of NORMAL. The mail you have received is not signed, and such anonymous letters posted from NORMALs mail accounts have previously been denounced by NORMAL as invalid.

Norway is probably the European country that has been most devastated by the Drug War.
As you probably know, FF runs the oldest and most visited cannabis site in Norway.
Many Norwegian drug activists, including myself, actually wonder if NORMAL is a part of the Drug War establishment.
NORMALs treatment of Freddie and others who are brave enough to voice their opinions is a disgrace.

I feel fre to tell you this, as their official spokesperson is on vacation, probably until early May next year.

Best regards,
from Terje Bolling

So, as you see, here in Norway everything is slightly close to "normal".
