Minneapolis

From: Chris Wright

We had a glorious day here in Minneapolis with 400 participants.

The weather was blustery but everyone enjoyed listening to the music of the 420 All-Stars and the Kung Fu Hippies.

We had some good speeches by Tim Davis, Green for Senate, and our first elected official to speak at a smoke-in,
City Council-Member Dean Zimmerman.

After my speech, I marched the crowd to the Democratic State Convention to light a fire under their asses.

There were no arrests despite some who were caught on film by the local CBS affiliate lighting up a hand blown pipe.

Of course, despite being interviewed by local newspapers and film media present at the convention, there was no more coverage. But the Democrats know we were there and they won't be forgetting the 400 patriotic potheads who disrupted their nomination of Roger Moe for Governor.

Afterwards we marched to Washburn Fair-Oaks for a drum circle and smoked up the statue of George Washington that was erected in the park.

The day was enjoyed by all and we thank you (Dana Beal) and the crew for all your help.

Take it easy,

Chris Wright
