They have not really proved anything yet. Basically, over a period of several years there has been some strange deaths where the toxicologists found THC in the bodies of the deceased. They could find no other reasonable explanation as some of them were quite young and seemingly healthy. So they attributed THC to the cause of death in these cases, while at the same time we know there are usually hundreds of deaths each year that likewise cannot be explained. As I have followed the story, I know that the state toxicology institute and the media first reported 7 cannabis deaths, which were later reduced to 6. One of the deceased had taken almost every other drug ( including alcohol ) the very same day he died. How the toxicologists first escaped this finding is beyond me. At the same time the story is spun with the myth that cannabis keeps getting stronger, and that high concentrations of THC is the "new danger".
