This is one of my favorite Norwegian black metal bands, with inspiration from such bands as Venom, Bathory and Celtic Frost - this should appeal to most black metal fans out there. This is atmospheric and heavy stuff, with keyboards and high-pitched shrieking vocals (not as high-pitched as the Cradle of Filth vocals though).
It's a bit strange though, that no one else has made a home page of some sorts about this band. Maybe it's because there's very little known facts about the band, or not too many have heard about Carpathian Forest before - it's certainly not as commercial as Dimmu Borgir is. Well, anyway, here's my tribute (home page) to this most excellent band!
