Computing
I work with computers and spend my leasure time using the machines for more
pleasent activities. Many of them are related to my amateur radio hobby. In my
radio activities the computer has several uses:
- Packet radio with a BayCom modem.
- Hellschreiber work.
- Log keeping with log-eqf
- QSL card production with log2PS.
I wrote the program in Borland C++ v.3.0. It is still under development.
- Microprocessor programming on the 8031. I have built the construction of OZ1BOV
Karsten Frahm, published in OZ 1991.
For more office like computing like letter writing, internet and so on I
use this setup:
- REC PC, 120 MHz pentium, 16 MB RAM and
2 GB disk.
- Aztech Sound Galaxy Sound card and Stellar
6x CD ROM
- IOMEGA 800 traven tapestreamer
- Microtek E3 scanner
- QMS 810 Postscript laser printer
- USR Sportster 28800 modem
