Introduction

The material on this page with sub-pages comes from Martin Koetsier's website, now closed. He asked me to take over. A few places I have inserted my comments, in smaller and green type.

Martin Koetsier is a railway man, and his TT comments focus on trains - the most important, and most interesting of the 4 transport forms.

The concept of Refuge Depots is a good idea, and can be used both with 'standard' and RoRo stations.

The Train Pathfinding Algorithm is of special interest! Martin is the only one (as far as I know) to have dug deep into this vital and interesting area of the game.

All hints & tips are train-related for use with the 'Deluxe'-version. They are situated in the moderate (standard) climate and based on tips from the web, combined with Martin's personal experience.

If you are new to the world of TT, go and check out Mike Metcalfs Strategy Guide (C.Doherty's site). It provides lots of information for would be Railroad Barons. Make yourself familiar with his guide and enjoy the game much more!
