Here it is - version two of the Glyph Web Civ2 Links List. As promised, we've rated each of the sites shown according to the variety of Civ-related goodies on offer, and with the exception of the official MicroProse site, we've also listed them according to the site's depth and scope. You're bound to find something of interest on one of these sites!
Don't forget the unique Glyph Web 'Console' feature! Click on the 'Console' icon at the bottom of this page for a framed view of these links allowing you to visit as many of the sites as you like while keeping the entire list on the screen.
We've had to use abbreviations to fit all the different features on one page. These are:

Sites with this icon provide some means of contact between visitors to the site. This might be a full-blown on-line real-time chat system, or just a simple message board. |

This icon appears when a site offers help with playing strategies, tip and tricks. If you're looking for strategy information, don't forget to visit our own Game Strategy page as well. |

For help designing your own maps, creating your own units, setting up scenarios and so on, look for sites with this 'CUST' (for 'customisation') icon. |

You'll probably already have guessed that where you see 'MAPS' icons, these sites provide 'pre-made worlds' (i.e. maps) for use with Civilization II. |

You can expect to find libraries of Civ2 scenarios on sites with a 'SCEN' icon next to their names. |

This icon tells you that a site provides MOD packs to change the look or feel of the game. We've also given this icon to sites providing new graphics for you to incorporate yourself. |

Almost every Civ2 site on the Web provides a list of links like this one. If you're looking for even more links than we have here, then the 'LINK' icon is the one you need. |

For those wanting to publicise their high scores, some sites provide a 'Hall of Fame' page. That's what the 'FAME' icon means. |

Multi-player Civilization? Apparently. Look for this 'MULT' icon to find sites offering this facility, whether across the Web or on the same PC. |

Finally, we've added a 'MISC' icon for sites that provide other features as well as those listed here. This could mean anything from downloadable patches to game reviews - you'll have to visit the site to find out more. |
