The Vespa- enthusiast Øystein Greni had to sell his 1964 model scooter to finance the recording, but it was worth it; BigBang is the band everyone is talking about.

BigBang uses just one word to explain the atmosphere after the bands concert at Bylarm, "Awesome!"

"People in the music business, with beer breath came running into the change room - they were all whispering about contracts," smiles BigBangs charming front-figure Øystein Greni.

They had to finance the record "Electric Psalmbook" themselves, and had to make big sacrifices. The Vespa–enthusiast Øystein Greni had to sell his Vespa and move back in to his parents’home.

"Are we a retro band? No, we are timeless," says Greni. "Electric Psalmbook" is made in a true Lars VonTier spirit. The cd does have a certain dogma feeling to it. It was recorded in 6 days, with no mixing or cheating. We couldn’t afford to mix it."

As a teenager, Greni was a skateboarder with talent of dimensions. He won EC in 1991. An injury wrecked his pro plans, but because of Greni’s contacts in USA, they’ve already had two tours there, and have two songs on the IMAX’s skateboard movie, "Extreme".
