Career:
Dougie Freedman started his career in QPR. He was unlucky with injurys and could never establish himself as an regular. In 1994, Ray Clemence took him to Barnet on a Free transfer. He was an instant success, and it was clear that Barnet couldn't keep hold on him for long. A year later he was sold to Crystal Palace for £750.000. He could never establish himself fully at Palace and has later had spells with Wolves and Nottingham Forest. In the later stages of last season he played in most of the games for Forest, and it looks like he has finally found a base for personal success.

Other comments:
Dougie made his debut for Scotland U21 while at Underhill. Later he has played for Scotland at A- and B-level.
