Other comments:
Barry Fry is without doubt the most colourful manager in the history of Barnet Football club. Even though his first spell at the club was unsuccessful, he came back in 1986. This time he was in charge of a team that had the potensial to reach the Football league.
In 1991 they were successful. An attacking side typical of Barry Fry beat Fisher on the last day and that was enough to bring the title to Underhill.
In their second season in the football league, Barnet got promoted, but Barry Fry had already left for Southend, after the last of many fights with chairman Stan Flashman.
After only a few months he left Southend for Birmingham. His three years here wasn't as succesful as he would have hoped, and in 1996 he joined Peterborough.
