Krzysztof Drab - recording producer
Krzysztof Drab graduated Tonmeister from Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw (Sound Recording Department) in 1981. Since 1978 he was working for Polish Recording Company, Polish Radio and as a freelance producer/engineer in classical recording team "D&D Music Prod." the first to produce digital recordings in Poland.

In 1992 he was employed as classical recording producer at Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation for live broadcasts with The Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and Mariss Jansons as well as with other major Norwegian symphony orchestras. Since 1994 he has been cooperating with Simax Classics producing many CD's with chamber and symphonic music.

In 1997 he was invited by Netherlands Radio to produce live broadcasts with Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and Early Music Festival in Utrecht in 97 and 98.

Since 1998 he has been working on the project: "The Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra & Mariss Jansons LIVE" including CD's: Strauss - Till Eulenspiegel, Stravinsky - The Firebird, Brahms - Complete Symphonies, Mahler - Complete Symphonies (surround sound).

Having produced hundreds CD's for labels such as EMI Pathe Marconi, Virgin Classics, RCA Victor, Simax, Naxos, Accord-Musidisc he has worked with well known artists including Sir Yehudi Menuhin, Krzysztof Penderecki, Leo Nucci, Mariss Jansons, Augustin Dumay, Wieland Kuijken, Jean-Bernard Pommier, Bob van Asperen, Manfred Honeck, Frank Peter Zimmerman.
