Equipment list

NRK Musikkteknikk have a state-of-the-art control room inside Oslo Concert Hall, Oslo's largest and finest concert hall for classical music. We work with the famous Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra on a daily basis with weekly live broadcasts. Our control room is also used for the numerous CD recordings of Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra.

Our control room was during the summer of 2000 been rebuilt with improved acoustics and a STUDER 928 analog mixer. We mix on Bowers&Wilkins 801 speakers powered by Dynamic Precision amps and record to Pyramix multitrack.

Mixer

Studer 928 analog mixer with six mono- and two stereo-AUX, EQ-section with four sweepable bands (mono: Q-factor on the two mids) as well as a high-pass filter. The channels can be controlled through four VCA-groups (standard) and can be routed to up to eight groups.
