Control room

K 19 is a smaller and less equipped multitrack studio than K20. It is mainly used for smaller ensembles like chamber music, jazz quartets and folk music. The studio records on a 24 bit Pro Tools HD system. K19 is about 40 square meters and was rebuilt with improved acoustics in 1997.

Studio

We have 2 recording studios connected to K19:

S19 a large studio about 140 square meters. It is recently refurbished to an intimate concert hall that seats about 50 people. Live concerts for an eclusive audience with national and international artists are recorded or transmitted live from Studio 19.

S 18 is a smaller and acoustically more dead room with a relatively short reverb time. It is Norway's only professional listening room, built after EBU's standards, and is used for evaluation of technical equipment, music recordings and radio drama as well as a traditional recording studio.
