..my open letters to Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, and to the Prime Minister of Norway of  June 7'th 1997 on a Norwegian...

..ICTY's follow up letter to me (html w/ 714 kb jpg scan)  (plain text version) of  July 8'th 1997...and my follow up letter to the Prime Minister of Norway of August 7'th 1997...

..since then more than 18 months, and a lot of people has passed away, so the best case scenario now, is the postman stole my registered follow up letter to Thorbjørn Jagland, the Prime Minister of Norway of August 7'th 1997. So I followed up again, on April 7'th 1999, to the new guy...

...who felt ICTY's move on Mr. Milosevic might harm the peace negotiation work, so I now try to follow up again to him, to help solve that problem.  I furthermore follow up to the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia,  the Storting (Parliament), the Police here in Stavanger, and the involved Countries thru the Ambassadors of Denmark, Yugoslavia, China, the US, the UK, Russia, the EU, Turkey, Albania, Bosnia, Hungary,  Rumenia, Bulgaria, and of course the media and the web.

It is my sincere hope that anyone accused of war crimes, receive a fair trial and a fair verdict.

A fair verdict must remove any doubt of guilt, and in a fair way, reflect done damages, and where possible, fair and reasonable, repair these damages.

Consider the alledged typical case of a Serb Military Police Officer shooting dead a  Civilian Kosovani father of three, leaving the widow and the three children alive.  Hanging the Serb Military Police Officer for this shot, will not bring back the dead Father.

IMHO, a fair verdict of guilt should honor and reward cooperation, and include an imprisonment sentence for the duration of the post war screening, investigation, and trial, and a tax-deductable "war damages fine payment" of  20 - 50 % of the above former Serb Military Police Officer future gross income, paid to the Kosovani widow and the children, for a reasonable amount of time. Such an verdict would not only help the Widow raise and educate her children, it would also encourage Her to help "their" Serb find better jobs, and vice versa.

I feel this should help build Respect for the 4 Geneva Conventions, the Serb and Kosovani Nations, and the Tribunal, which I feel is a requirement for Realistic Peace Negotiations and a Lasting Peace built on Respect for International Law.
