.. about 2 weeks ago, the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade was hit by a Nato airstrike.
..in this act of war, 3 Chinese was killed, and 23 another wounded.
..the Chinese Government has, outraged, demanded that everyone responsible for this war crime, be indicted, tried and punished at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. I agree, in part. They are damned right.
..this Nato airstrike was an 'act of warfare against a Souvereign Country'. Such acts start wars. Warfare does not require a declaration of war. Adolf Hitler also used this formality trick with considerable success.
..Nato claim this was a real fuck-up, and that the intended target for this strike was the Serb Ministry of the Interior, which used to be in that very building, before the Chinese set up their Embassy there. The air strike crew hit their target exactly as briefed, and had no reason not to belive they were briefed correctly.
..the fuck-up is blamed onto flawed intelligence work, done by "professionals". Several possibilities exists here, Serb agents, some European Nato government wanting to "Vietnam" the U.S., one more time, etc.
..note that Serb? agents may legally, have lead Nato on to bomb the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade...
..on professionality in the clandestine disiplines, I can recommend this overview page as a primer. Military servicemen should be able to trust their own intelligence service, otherwise, they fight on the wrong side. Problem is, the Tribunal cannot hang them.
..the solution is, Court Marshal them all.
Dig deep enough, to find the offending party, try them, free
or hang them.
